You can always see something at a baseball game that you've never seen before .... In yesterday's @mulesbsb sweep of Washington College, Evan Virno pitched 2/3 of an inning to earn the win - without retiring a batter!
He came in with runners on second and third in the ninth and picked off the lead runner before throwing a pitch. The trail runner was thrown out trying to advance on his third pitch. Muhlenberg walked it off in the bottom of the inning.
Virno's pitching line - 2/3 of an inning, no batters faced, and a win - has *NEVER* been achieved in Major League Baseball 🤯🤯
