UA pilots have different work rules than FAS, more per diem, different downtown layover requirements, and higher profit sharing.
AFA didn’t feel it necessary to negotiate close the pilots at UA that has AFA - why would they be able to do it at Delta?
PILOT PASS BENEFIT RUMOR
There have been questions from flight attendants about a rumor circulating that pilots are negotiating to receive different non-rev benefits than other workgroups in their next contract.
As evidenced by our history, Delta is, and will always remain, committed to equal employee pass travel privileges.
Delta and the Air Line Pilots Association
(“ALPA”) recently began negotiations by exchanging opening proposals. One of many items ALPA included in its proposal was to
“enhance non-revenue travel benefits for pilots.” During negotiations, many ideas are proposed and discussed, but both sides must agree before any changes make it into the final agreement. AFA can’t even match their own unionized Flight Attendants at any of their members carriers. Don’t fall for the lies AFA tells!
