There is a viral video going around that is taking the Lego community by storm.

@mgsbrick visited 4 Bricks and Minifigs locations with a bin full of Lego minifigures including common, rare, extremely rare, and valuable minifigures.
Lego Star Wars Darth Malgas, Lego Star Wars Chrome C3P0, Lego DC Bane, and many more.

Bricks and Minifigs is kind of like the GameStop or Pawn Shop of the Lego community.
There are dishonest and honest people in the Lego community and all communities, unfortunately.

My biggest issue is the sloppy presentation of the minifigures (by the "customer") and the mindset that "Bricks and Minifigs employees are the experts."
LAZY. LAZY. LAZY.

Do you own research. STOP BEING LAZY. Bringing in minifigures that aren't together and expecting every employee to know the values of 100s of thousands of different minifigures is unrealistic and LAZY.
Why would you trust and ask a random employee to sort your stuff, put it together, and then give you a great price for it? Unrealistic and LAZY.

At the end of the video, the final owner holds onto the Chrome C3PO minifigure and gives the rest back to the guys (also told them it was fake).... was he trying to steal it? Was it an honest mistake? Personally, I would be MAD and I would have accused him of stealing it as well.

Some Owners gave good advice on how to find values of your collection. Ebay, Bricklink, Mercari, FB Marketplace, etc.

Personally, I have had positive experiences at my local Cherry Hill NJ Bricks and Minifigs.

The video was informative and entertaining, but also extremely aggravating.

Trust yourself. Do your due dillegence. Put in the effort. Don't blindly trust people when it comes to $$.

Let me know your thoughts.
I post daily Lego content.

I wouldn't advise people to go and spam negative comments on all the Bricks and Minifigs accounts (as I did) that don't have blocked comments on Instagram yet, and I also don't advise anyone to go and write them bad reviews on Google, it wouldn't be right think to do, it certainly wouldn't be as wrong as stealing an old and sick persons Lego sets, but they definitely doesn't deserve bad comments for that, especially when they have almost perfect reviews on google, this motherfuckers

Just want to clarify and make sure everyone understands my positions on the issue at the Bricks and Minifigs Salem Oregon 200k Lego Star Wars stolen collection . 1. The CEO and owner need to be held accountable for their actions. 2. Many other folks need to be held accountable for other issues and coverups. 3. I took down my "I stand with BAM" post as this was an older post from a separate issue. This was being misrepresented. 4. I do NOT stand with the CEO, corporate or any unethical owners. 5. I feel sympathy for the good owners and employees who are caught in the crossfire. They feel the same way that we do and want this to be resolved. 6. The Lego community is not about hate, threatening, or harassment. Please do not do this to good and innocent people.

respectful ways. Hold a protest. Send messages to the corporate account. Don't shop at BAM is another great way to speak up and totally acceptable. 8. Personally, my experiences have been good and it depends on individual locations and people. People are the root of good, bad, honest, dishonest, etc. Each location is individually owned and operated, they also are a brand name which is severely damaged. 9. There is room for improvement. 10. I have built my page on honesty and integrity. I speak up about things that need improvement. BAM has room for improvement, but also a lot of folks have room for improvement based on their actions the last week from this situation. 11. I hope this entire situation is resolved and the right thing is done for the family. I hope this clarifies my honest and logical stance on this situation.
