They want you compliant; I want you feral.
Bite into the day before it bites into you. Stay magnificent, and stay wild.

Never promised pretty, but it will always be tasty! 😂🍎
SAVE this one for a fun fall treat! These GLUTEN-FREE CINNAMON SUGAR APPLE DONUTS might not win a beauty contest, but they definitely surprised me!

That crispy, cinnamon sugar-coated dough reminded me of the funnel cakes & elephant ears I grew up eating. Something I haven’t had in nearly 20 years since going gluten free! Add a tart apple center & oh my goodness. SO GOOD. 🤌

You can totally make these to your liking- gluten or no gluten. 😅

GLUTEN-FREE APPLE DONUTS 🍎
Ingredients:

* 2–3 apples
* 1 cup pancake mix (I used @dawafulls )
* ½ cup water, approximately (adjust for your mix)
* 2–3 Tbsp coconut oil, plus more as needed
* 3 Tbsp coconut sugar
* 1 tsp cinnamon
* Pinch of sea salt
* Powdered sugar for dusting

How to make them:

1. Slice apples into ¼-inch rings, remove the centers & pat dry.
2. Mix pancake batter according to your package, using less liquid for a thicker consistency. I used ½ cup Da Wafulls mix with 4 Tbsp water per batch. You want the batter thick enough to cling to the apples, not run off like regular pancake batter.
3. Heat coconut oil in a skillet over medium-low to medium heat.
4. Dip each apple ring into the batter, coating both sides. Carefully place in the hot oil & cook until golden and cooked through, flipping with tongs. Watch for splattering!
5. Combine coconut sugar, cinnamon & sea salt. Gently coat the warm apple donuts.
6. Finish with a dusting of powdered sugar & ENJOY!

A few notes: Da Wafulls has that slightly chewy, mochi-like texture that made these extra fun! Any pancake mix should work with adjustments to the liquid, and regular granulated sugar works beautifully in place of coconut sugar.

Eat them as is, or serve them warm, add a caramel drizzle or even a scoop of vanilla ice cream!

A little imperfect, a little nostalgic & a whole lot of fall fun. 🤎
Who else remembers getting funnel cakes or elephant ears growing up?! 🥹

Apologies in advance for the long, sappy caption….

I have been nothing short of in awe of you these past two weeks. The mental and physical toughness you’ve shown, and everything pregnancy & childbirth have put your body through, is something I genuinely can’t wrap my head around. There’s not a man in this world who wouldn’t have completely lost it 20 minutes into what you’ve had to endure.

But through all of it, the most incredible part has been watching the love and excitement you have for our daughter. Even at 4 in the morning, running on no sleep, you somehow still manage to be so excited to wake up and feed her.

I don’t really know what I expected pregnancy and childbirth to look like, but the level of respect and admiration I have for you, and every mom who has gone through this, is astronomical.

Also, a quick shoutout to the nurses and doctors who made me realize just how completely helpless I am in a real-life emergency. Apparently, playing a couple of doctors on TV doesn’t actually qualify you for anything. The girls at the hospital were just the perfect level of calm, loving, caring, reassuring, fast-acting, knowledgeable, and everything else in between. Thank you for taking care of my girls. (You know who you are)

My wife, the nurses, the doctors… you guys are legitimately real-life heroes.

Tash, thank you for being the best mom I could have ever asked for our daughter. Watching you become a mother has somehow made me love you even more than I thought was possible.

You are the strongest person I know, and our little girl has absolutely no idea how lucky she is to have you.
