Zohran Mamdani dressed in disguise handing out waters and high fives to nyc marathon runners 😭🥺 #nycmarathon #mamdani #nyclife #nycliving #zohranmamdani

John, you were a true legend, but more than that, you were one of my favorite human beings to ever walk this planet.

I first met John Frieda in India in 1990. Our time there is a whole other story—magical, life-changing, and the beginning of something extraordinary.

Years later, through Brooke Wall, our paths crossed again, and we went on to become partners for 10 incredible years. We opened our first salon on Melrose Place, which became iconic, and together we made magic.

I absolutely adored John. The laughter, the adventures, the creativity, the unforgettable experiences—we truly had the time of our lives.

Thank you, John, for changing my life in more ways than you could ever imagine. I will forever cherish our friendship, our memories, and all the magic we created together. You will always have a place in my heart.

Rest in peace, my dear friend. ❤️

Sending all my love to John’s family and everyone who was lucky enough to know and love him🤍🙏🏻🕊️

WEEK 6 – HALLOWEEN WEEK! 🧚🏾‍♀️✨🎃

This year, my daughter helped me choose my Halloween costume because she didn’t want anything too gruselig! 😂❤️

And here’s your German word of the day: GRUSELIG means SCARY or SPOOKY in English! 🇩🇪

So instead of something frightening, I’m a fairy this year! 🧚🏾‍♀️✨

Halloween at Strictly Come Dancing is becoming more and more of an EVENT every year! The costumes, the creativity, the atmosphere, the transformations… it’s truly something special! 🎃✨

Now I want to know… Are you Team SCARY 👻 or Team FAIRY 🧚🏾‍♀️ this Halloween?

And what do you think of my daughter’s choice? 😂❤️

The Holiday Host
Meet @augustacole, the event producer who makes a multiday destination wedding feel as easy as an intimate dinner party. Based between New York and Charleston, she has spent 15 years perfecting the kind of details guests talk about long after the last toast. Just in time for the holidays, she shares her hosting rituals and the Cara Cara pieces that take her from prep to party.
Take a seat, grab a glass, and explore the Q&A on The Diary of a Traveler.
