3 hours agoBeing military, I have practice that with my daughter when relocating. She’s decided to stay in her school for the last two years with my mother and sister as a support. I was back and forth monthly to be a present parent besides the daily calls. We had a routine until I wanted her back with me. If you have the means, support, and that line of communication at a certain age where they comprehend then this is a great way to support your child during career pivots. I love that my mother was supportive and told me she could stay with her while I pivoted to build but at some point my child’s presence is more valuable than a career move without her to experience it with me. Success is a sacrifice.
