If your life feels full, and I mean really full, you already know trying to do everything yourself isn’t sustainable.
We made a decision in our home:
we were going to stop carrying things that weren’t ours to carry.
Not because we can’t do them…
but because we refuse to let them take the time and energy we need for what actually matters.
Here’s what that looks like for us:
01 — Wash & fold laundry ($1/lb)
Clothes come back sorted by person. We just put them away.
✔ Saves time, utilities, and mental load
02 — Wegmans + others prepared meals (weeknights)
Quality food, ready in 15 minutes
✔ Less cooking, less cleanup, smaller grocery bill
03 — Meal service for kids’ lunches
Healthy, prepped, grab-and-go
✔ No more morning chaos
04 — Housekeeper + Monday reset day
We all clean our spaces, tackle common areas together
✔ Weekends are ours again
05 — Landscaper (for some of our property)
We enjoy our yard instead of managing it
✔ Also supporting someone else’s livelihood
06 — Free grocery pickup
Order on my lunch break, pick up on the way home
✔ No aisles, no rushing, no impulse buys
None of this is about being unable to do these things.
It’s about being unwilling to let these things consume the capacity God gave me for my assignment.
Because stewardship isn’t just managing your calling…
it’s protecting your capacity to show up for it.
So let me ask you:
What’s one thing you could stop carrying this week?
Or already outsource that’s been a game changer?
Drop it below 👇🏾 Let’s help each other out.
