The hope in every fellow Gazan’s heart and mind is buried beneath millions of tonnes of rubble and hundreds of thousands of dead bodies. And this is not even the hope of a better future; it is simply the hope of surviving a never-ending genocide.

Hope is never truly dead, yet it is not even alive. The suffering is so immense that it has become impossible to feel anything but terror and anger, not only towards the enemy, but also towards everyone who has yet to do anything to stop the sheer injustice being inflicted upon us.

What a privilege it is to be safe and cared for here. What guilt and anger I carry in my heart, knowing that I am free while my own family and friends are not, and that I cannot share this freedom with them.

It is abominable how much of our lives we spend simply trying to survive, struggling to prove our worth in a world that seems to care about everything but us.

The occupation has not only changed us; it has changed the entire world. Anyone who can look away from our suffering, who cannot even spare a thought for us, reveals a profound lack of humanity and kindness.

The occupation and those who support it must, and will, eventually, be held accountable for their actions and their words.

The time will come when the whole world finally sees us for who we are: a people of extraordinary steadfastness and resilience, a people who have endured what no human being should ever have to endure, and who have refused to surrender their humanity despite everything. We will be seen, heard, and remembered for generations to come.

Protect your gear and document your serial numbers before you ever leave a camera at a repair shop 📸⚠️

@kailaide trusted a vintage camera repair shop with a priceless 1960s Rolleiflex passed down through her family from her grandmother. She brought it in for routine service, and what came back was an absolute disaster.

Mismatched plates, stripped screws, fresh gouges in the metal, and hardware that does not even match the original camera build. The craziest part is the shop admitting on camera that they forced the screws because they did not have the proper tools. 👎🏽

Gatekeeping in this industry is bad enough, but taking advantage of independent photographers and ruining sentimental film gear is completely unacceptable.

If you are dropping off vintage film cameras or cinema packages for service, follow three non negotiable rules:

1️⃣ Photograph every angle, screw, and cosmetic detail right on the shop counter before handing it over.
2️⃣. Log the exact serial number on your intake paperwork and take a picture of the signed receipt.

3️⃣Require written approval before any internal parts or plates are swapped.
Stand up for your fellow creators and hold these shops accountable 🤝📦

Neighbors, this is wild as hell! A woman is accusing a gas station employee of trying to steal her gas money after she handed him two $20 bills that mysteriously disappeared. According to her Instagram post, the employee claimed he never saw the money, but she wasn’t going for it.

The woman says she requested that 911 be called so they could look at the surveillance footage, but the employee allegedly refused. She then pretended she was going to pay with her debit card, prompting him to let her inside the store. That’s when she claims she discovered one $20 bill lying on the floor and the other sitting in the trash can.

The woman believes the employee attempted to throw away both bills without realizing one had fallen on the floor. She admitted she was so angry she wanted to spray him in the face with mace.
