I saw another mom on social media do this and thought, we have to give it a try.

This year, we’re doing a full 50 states study in our homeschool, taking it one state at a time and really diving into the landmarks, history, culture, and what makes each one unique.

So we sent 50 letters to all 50 state tourism departments asking for maps, brochures, and anything they’d be willing to share.

Honestly… who doesn’t love getting mail?

I have no idea what we’re going to get back, but we’re bringing you along for the whole journey, opening every envelope and adding pieces to our U.S.A. Geography Notebook from @schoolnest
