Gaddafi built a gold-backed African dinar. NATO intervened. His first act — establishing a central bank and resuming dollar oil sales — was the rebel government’s, not his.
Venezuela sold oil in yuan. Gone.
Then Iran did something none of them did.
It didn’t argue with the system.
It put a toll booth on it.
$2 million per voyage. Yuan only. Cleared through infrastructure America cannot freeze, cannot monitor, cannot shut down.
The US naval blockade is the counter-move. But CIPS already processes $130 billion a day. mBridge — built by the central banks of China, UAE and Saudi Arabia — has processed $55 billion, 95% in digital yuan.
The plumbing for a non-dollar oil market isn’t being planned.
It’s built.
Kissinger built the system to survive oil shocks.
