One of the BEST things you can make with just 4 easy to find pantry ingredients. Trust me, you do not need to buy overpriced shop bought treats that are full of ultra processed ingredients - make this chocolate fudge crunch slab instead, it’s perfection 🤌🏼

Go try it for yourself, it’s so easy and SO good.

Here’s how 👩‍🍳

🔹1 tin cooked chickpeas, drained
🔹drizzle of olive oil
🔹 1.5 cups cup chocolate chips
🔹 2 tbsp tahini (or peanut butter)
Optional: pinch of salt

▪️drain the chickpeas then place on a lined baking tray, drizzle with olive oil (and salt if using) and shake a little
▪️ bake at 180C for 20 minutes or until the chickpeas are golden and crunchy, then leave to cool
▪️melt chocolate in a double boiler or microwave stirring every 30 seconds then stir in the tahini or peanut butter. Pour the chickpeas into a lined loaf tin or mould then cover with the chocolate mixture
▪️chill in the fridge until set (around 30 mins) then cut into slices and enjoy!

I made the recipe. To get the chickpeas crispy, you'll need to cook them at 425 F for 20-30 minutes. Also, dry them before cooking. The calories are around 2000 for the whole thing. I divided it into 8 parts so it's around 250 calories. It's a nice treat to have at the end of the day.

Do you need to soak the chick peas before cooking if you bought them in a packet?

I made these today with peanut butter but they weren’t fudgy and the chocolate set brick hard. Not sure where I went wrong…..
