A couple of years ago, my life looked like this:
Fifth child. Nursing two kids. Older kids in activities. Executive Director of my church, planning conferences, schools, ministry teams, and meetings two to three times a week. Ten-hour work days, writing strategy, leading transformational projects, and advising our school board. Certificate programs. Trainings. Building a business.
From the moment I woke up until the moment I went to sleep, I was occupied with something.
I was present with my husband and my children. If they needed me, I shifted my entire day. Family is your first and most important ministry.
But I was exhausted. And I could not stop.
I prayed against procrastination. I read every time management book. I tried to squeeze 52 weeks into 12. Lists. Calendars. Planners. Professional multitasking.
And at the end of every day, things were still left undone.
Not because I lacked faith. Not because I wasn't trying. Because I did not have a system that matched the assignment God had given me.
Something had to give. And I knew if it didn’t, it would be to my detriment.
So I prayed for a solution.
God answered with a framework. Three steps. Built around my actual assignment, not a generic productivity formula.
Everything shifted.
I stopped missing family moments to finish a to-do list. I stopped working into the wee hours just to feel caught up. I stopped carrying the weight of undone things into every new day.
For the first time, I had freedom.
Not just a margin on my calendar. Real freedom.
Once I got clear on my top three priorities, everything else found its place.
That framework is what I built Steward What's Yours™ around.
Because what worked for me, a wife, a mother of five, a federal employee, and a PhD student, will work for you too.
If you have been where I was, the Steward What's Yours™ course was built for you. Link in bio.
