My little guy is finally making a recovery 🥰

He was diagnosed with IVDD on March 30, a condition that can lead to permanent paralysis. It started with weakness in his back legs, and eventually he wasn’t able to bear weight on any of his legs.

For the past 17 days, I’ve put everything into keeping him comfortable and pain-free. Watching him not be himself completely broke my heart. 13 years suddenly didn’t feel like enough time… not enough memories, not enough of him. I wasn’t ready.

But seeing him now starting to walk on all fours again and even play a little with his toys, it gives me so much hope. He’s getting stronger every day, and I’m praying for a full recovery 🩵
