a month agoIt’s a bit like the invisible gorilla experiment. After producing and mixing a track for weeks, you can stop hearing what’s right in front of you. A separate process with a mastering engineer brings back that fresh perspective.
2 months agoI like bouncing out for mastering in T-Racks suite but deffo prefer mastering my own stuff
3 months agoMixing in the mix project oftentimes saves time when you need to tweak something eg. the kick or snare being too loud. But when im feeling professional i do master in a different project
3 months agoI need some mixing assistance, I have this clap that I’m using but when it hits and raises the volume of my melodies. How do you fix this.. I tried to cut frequencies and change that attack on the clap using a transient processor.
3 months agoIm newer in this space but mastering on a new empty project just helps me “reset” my brain and ears and treat it like a different project. However I do the mix bus processing on the same project and make sure everything is clear and loud so that mastering is about microtweaks, glueing and not pushing the limiters too hard
3 months agoSaludos Maestro, he visto tus videos y tus intervenciones en otras entrevistas. Wooow uno queda tipo...😮. No cuento con los equipos necesarios para lograr un sonido, solo la PC y un par de monitores de mesa. Pero tu inspiras ha seguir adelante....Saludos y bendiciones.
4 months agoPersonally, i like to separate the song to different projects Specially if i have to record the vocal session, audio mix, Music arrangement, drums and so on.. I keep them in One File, the only problem with this method is it takes sometimes to load between different projects, extra space needed, but it’s a great method if you are dealing with big Stuff.
