I could write a novel about how much fun we’ve had the past 2.5 years and how Bianca is really the best coworker anyone could have - but I’ll spare y’all this time (Bianca already has the novel😂). Another Black graduate is viral on the internet, but this time, it’s not only for hitting an epic celebration, it’s because school administration decided to make her face consequences right on stage.

An 18-year-old Chicago high school graduate is speaking out after school officials withheld her diploma all because she dropped into a full split while walking across the graduation stage. What was supposed to be a memory of black joy and academic achievement quickly turned into a disciplinary nightmare, leaving the teen escorted out of her own commencement ceremony empty-handed.

The graduate, who finished her high school career with an impressive 3.5 GPA, tells @fox32chicago’s @tiaontv she never expected her celebratory moment to rub school leaders the wrong way. The internet quickly caught wind of the footage, showing the graduate fully committing to the dance move on stage. However, the energy in the room shifted instantly when administration stepped in.
