Entry 627: “Mining was only half the mission. The other half was extermination. Me and H-2467, my assigned miners mech, spent every shift cutting octanium from the rock and cutting bug-like swarms to pieces when they came flooding in from the dark. H carried an automatic rifle and never missed, laying down fire while I set charges and kept the drills running. By the time the smoke cleared, the ore was exposed, the casings were ankle-deep, and the blasted stone was painted in blue-green blood.”

Another one with the revered @zakar.ion. I sent him some inspiration and told him I wanted to try to build from the artwork, but I ended up going off in a totally different direction where he stayed pretty close to the source. Sorry Z. Anyway this was the result, hope you like it ✌️
