So, as I was saying on this week’s pod, I recently met up with @saltvintagewatches who kindly brought along a few goodies for me to look at.

It goes without saying that by the end, I took a couple of these beauties home.

The Submariner 5512 and the Oyster Perpetual Date 1530 were my choices… but what would you have gone for?

The older my kids get, the more I realize these conversations can’t just happen once. ❤️That’s why I’m proud to partner with @thenewdrugtalk to share ways we can make these talks an everyday habit.

With my daughter, I’ve found that some of the best conversations happen while we’re cooking dinner together. It’s not forced; we’re not sitting down for some big serious “talk”… we’re just together, doing something normal.

And honestly, I think that’s what makes it easier for her to open up.

Sometimes we talk about friends, sometimes school, sometimes stress, and sometimes the harder stuff. I’ve been trying to remind myself that the drug conversation isn’t just about drugs. It’s also about helping our kids know how to handle stress, pressure, and those moments when life feels overwhelming.

If we want our kids to talk to us about the hard stuff, we have to make it easy for them to talk to us about everything else, too.

Sometimes that’s as simple as making dinner together. ❤️
