Earlier this April, Nicolas Baldeyrou made his debut with the Yomiuri Nippon Symphony Orchestra under the baton of Masato Tadaaki Otaka, in two concerts at Tokyo Metropolitan Theatre Concert Hall.

What made these performances especially touching was that @nicolasbaldeyrou shared the stage with one of his very first students, Fuminori Haga, a member of the orchestra’s clarinet section.

For the encore, Nicolas prepared a special arrangement from Bizet’s Carmen for three clarinets, and performed it together with Fuminori Haga and Yomiuri’s solo clarinet, Taira Kaneko.
