The Novice - part 2/2 🌞 I did this one page comic for @mubinotebook last spring. What an exciting assignment to write & draw something connected to cinema. The Novice appeared in the 2025 Notebook Special, a broadsheet format publication, which is distributed free-of-charge at film festivals. The first part of the comic puts this in context - read it, too! : - )

Seeing the first part of this strip I thaught it was about a movie.. could work to the word but this encapsulate even better how the subtle things make the beauty of life. Might need to read it again

I always wish this is how I gauge time, as it always feels so againts me. I don't want to think in terms of anything besides "is the sun setting/rising, and can I go watch it?"
