Repurposing a mid-century home and garden in Nungambakkam, Chennai into a restaurant & bakery.
Moving from the garden, the house is approached through the original porch. Within this threshold a compact takeaway bakery unit has been inserted, while maintaining the scale and intimacy of the entrance.
As the site transitioned from construction to an inhabited space, everyday routines gradually set in.
