Part of the Darkroom Collective collage pile, an ongoing shared archive where images from the darkroom pass through multiple hands, perspectives, and lives.
This piece lives somewhere between mine and not mine. Built from fragments, interruptions, and whatever was already in motion. That’s kind of the point.
Creativity doesn’t come from nowhere. It comes from your world, what you notice, what you carry, what you’re drawn to, and from other people’s worlds colliding with it. Every exchange shifts the image.
Nothing here is fully controlled. It’s responsive. It’s layered. It’s collective.
Collage, much like life, is the decision of what stays and what goes. What you hold, what you disclose.
The scraps make the image, so I can only hope to make the most of what comes from the pile.
