For many women, there’s a moment when they realize,“it’s my turn now” and it’s time to put themselves first. After years of building careers, raising families, caring for others and meeting everyone else’s expectations they begin to ask: What do I want the next chapter of my life to look like? Maybe you left a longtime career, ended a relationship, moved somewhere new, pursued a lifelong dream or finally gave yourself permission to live life on your own terms. Are you now embracing your third act and living a life that feels authentic and fulfilling. We want to hear from women in their late 50s and beyond who made a significant life change and are now living the creative, bold or satisfying life they’ve always wanted. If you live in New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Pennsylvania or Massachusetts and want to tell us about your story, email us at contactus@harpo.com. Please include a recent photo and the best number to reach you.
Walking back through those hallways after 19 years did something to me🥹❤️ I needed this moment more than I even realized. I remember being a student at Upper Darby High School, sitting in that same audience, listening to guest speakers share their stories. So to come back years later, share mine, and hopefully inspire these kids to believe that they can do and be ANYTHING they dream of… man, what a full-circle moment🥹 Thank you to UDHS for having me and a special thank you to my high school fashion design teacher, Ms @iouliarose for helping make this happen. ❤️ And shoutout to my Milano Di Rouge team! Y’all are the BEST! The Dreamers Uniform Tour was a SUCCESS! 🌟❤️ DREAMERS DON’T QUIT! #upperdarbyhighschool #Udhs #Highschool #Milanodirouge Outfit @milanodirouge Aura (size medium)
The world produces around 150 million tonnes of rice husk each year. A pioneering solution kills two birds with one stone – repurposing this agricultural waste as a durable and sustainable building material of the future. Alongside materials made from rice husks like panelling, research suggests rice husk ash could provide an alternative to cement - which is responsible for 8% of global carbon emissions. Tap the link in @BBCNews's bio to find out more about how rice husk is being used. (Via BBC Future) (Modern Mill) #BBCNews
