Sean Glass, an Israeli military commander reportedly in the United States, is facing calls for investigation over his alleged role in the killing of five-year-old Hind Rajab. Glass commanded the “Vampire Empire” tank company, which an investigation identified as operating near the car carrying Hind and her family when they came under Israeli fire in Gaza on 29 January 2024. According to the allegations, Glass was in command of the unit and may have personally ordered troops to open fire on the vehicle. Hind’s family were killed, and Hind was left trapped in the car, pleading for help. The two paramedics dispatched to rescue her were also killed. On 19 October, a legal complaint was submitted to the US Department of Justice calling for Glass to be investigated, arrested and prosecuted over alleged war crimes. Hind was five years old. Her final calls for help must not be forgotten. Her family and the paramedics who tried to save her deserve justice. #HindRajab #Palestine #Gaza #JusticeForHindRajab
