It’s hard to put into words what Mr. Knapp meant to us.A drum major leads with presence, passion, and purpose and for over 50 years, Mr. Knapp embodied those same qualities from the sidelines. He believed in us, stood with us, and poured into generations of DSU Bands without hesitation.
He wasn’t just a supporter he was a constant, a familiar face, a source of love and encouragement for generations of DSU Bands. He showed up with a full heart, and that kind of dedication leaves a mark that never fades. As we take the field, we will carry his spirit in every movement and every moment. His legacy will always march with us. We will carry you with us always. Rest peacefully 💙
