Smithtown, I’m from Northport. I can’t believe high ranches in Smithtown are going for the same price as a waterfront property in Northport make it make sense.

This is absolutely ridiculous!! Yea it’s nice but not for a 1mil 🤦🏻♀️ the housing market on LI is getting crazy! No one is going to buy houses and everyone is going to leave the state. All these people trying to make a huge profit are gonna end up just sitting on it. Who’s going to buy it?? Millennials are moving out of state, boomers already have their home and are moving to Florida, and Gen Z still too young and couldn’t afford to buy it anyhow. Word of advice to all home owners full of greed trying to make millions off a house you bough for 100k, don’t! The market is going to crash anyhow, and then you’re gonna wish you sold your house for 500k and made some money. I think people learned from the 2008 market crash. No one is going to buy a million dollar house that isn’t worth it, because when the market crashes they’ll have no choice but to let ot go into forclosure ana then all the big in waters like black rock will buy it up dirt cheap and the cycle begins all over again.

This is every single house in the bird section/ Smithtown/commack border south of 347. Was middle class when I grew up around there. Very sad 😔
