Been a bit MIA here because the past few weeks have been a blur of shoot days, travel, early call times, and an unhealthy number of flights in between 🦦Finally had a moment to sit down and realised my camera roll has basically turned into a mini life documentary 🤓So here’s a little life lately dump 🎬✨

Java | Indonesia2026-I’ve been fascinated with volcanoes since a young age and have always dreamt of travelling to faraway lands to see them. With my visit to Java, one thing I was eagerly waiting for was to see the famous Mount Merapi, which in Javanese loosely translates to- Mountain of Fire.Many locals believe Mount Merapi is guarded by unseen spirits, and that its eruptions are a way of maintaining natural and spiritual balance rather than random destruction. I also remember seeing it in Werner Herzog’s ‘Into the Inferno’ which is a visually striking documentary where he explores active volcanoes around the world while reflecting on how humans spiritually and culturally relate to these powerful natural forces.Last night after dinner we went to what was told to us was one of the best vantage points in the region to view it from. We sat there for a while and waited. Everything was dark and the looming mountain was a hazy but overwhelming silhouette against the sky. Suddenly there was faint orange spark on the tip of the silhouette and in a matter of seconds there was bright glowing orange lava spurting out of that silhouette, which is one of the most magical sights I’ve seen in my life. So surreal. Absolutely magical.
