One of the hardest things about having a best friend who lives far away is missing all the little moments you could have shared. It’s not always about the big occasions. Sometimes you just want to call them and say, “Are you free? Let’s go somewhere.” Or show up at their door because you’ve had a long day and could really use their company. Instead, you send messages, make phone calls, and try to find a time when you’re both available. And while those conversations mean so much, some days you wish the distance didn’t exist. That’s what makes long-distance friendships so bittersweet. You’re grateful to have someone who still feels close to your heart, even when they’re miles away. But you also wish you could be part of each other’s ordinary days a little more often. I hope we get to spend more time together someday, without counting the days until we have to say goodbye again. 💌 Send this to the friend you wish lived closer. ✨ Follow @heartfelt_writing_journey for more friendship messages.
