The Mesh is a dystopian new play set in a fractured future, where “Frames” (humanoid beings built to serve) begin to question their place in the world. They whisper of freedom. They demand equality. They claim innocence… yet reach for power.
But are they truly different from the humans who made them?
Blending sharp political commentary with raw human emotion, The Mesh explores inequality, patriarchy, xenophobia, and queerness against a backdrop of billionaire influence, rising radical movements, war, and a collapsing health system.
As tensions rise, one question remains:
Are they the victims of their creators… or the architects of their own fate? Or will everything and everyone crumble? The Mesh was Written and Directed by Simon Wegrzyn and co-created by L6 Drama and Performance Practice.
