6 months agoWould love to see how other moms manage the day to day. As a full time working mom, it can be overwhelming. My husband and I have just recently been working on creating a community for families like our, where the house is not always clean, I have 20 min to make a healthy dinner, and we are tripping over my sons fire truck while doing it. Our hope is to inspire other families that this is normal and okay. A happy household is better than a spotless one. If this is something that you'd be interested in please follow along 😊 I will be sharing quick dinner ideas, how I make sourdough without an oven (as mine is currently on the frits) and other normal day to day without the glitz and glam. I hope you can find this inspiring. Cheers!!! Alena

6 months agoHi there, I am an ADHD mum - I built an app to alleviate the mental load on a day to day basis. I built it for myself and my family but it worked so well that I’ve put it on the App Store. Please check it out as a Mother’s Day gift to yourself! 😊🥰💛
6 months agoYes yes yes 👏👏👏 we need systems level change and we need to stop blaming individual working moms for not being able to make it work in a system that wasn’t designed for them

6 months agoHere. For. All of it. After having my first child I saw the working world (which I love) completely inverted. Daycare feels like a life sentence for me - back to work??? After 16 wks? It would physically kill me ....I had never known the world to be so profoundly inhibiting for a woman until I did the thing women were built to do - carry life. Anyways, let's change all this shall we?!?!
