The Circuit Cinema | Film Screening in Toronto

A short film by Ava Shahnavaz ( @avazehshahnavaz ), The Untouchable ( @theuntouchableshort ) follows Yassi as a personal crisis on a busy highway escalates into a public standoff.

Inspired by a haunting memory of systemic indifference, this film explores the moment a woman’s distress meets a policing system driven more by rigid ideology than the law. Caught between an uncompromising institution and the watchful eyes of a crowd documenting the truth, it is a tense, urgent, and visceral reflection on power and the failure of accountability.
