A beautiful satellite image of Europe after dark. You can see the density of London, the sprawl of the Benelux region, the glow of northern Italy, the coastline of Spain traced in light. Truly a stunning look at the continent from above.

Paris is visible. Berlin is visible. The Alps sit dark and quiet between the lit-up valleys. It is remarkable how much you can identify from space. A real testament to European infrastructure and urban development across the centuries.

Anyway. Nothing else of note in the image. Beautiful continent. Look at all those cities.

El Camaro amarillo que todos conocen como Bumblebee no existía cuando Michael Bay decidió que seria el personaje — GM lo tuvo que construir desde cero solo para la película.

🎬 Bay visitó las instalaciones secretas de General Motors — su famoso “skunkworks”, el lugar donde desarrollan prototipos que el público nunca ve — y vio un concept car que todavía no tenía nombre ni modelo definido. En ese momento Bay dijo: “Ese es Bumblebee.” GM fabricó el prototipo del Camaro 2008 especialmente para la película, construido sobre un chasis de Pontiac GTO y pintado en amarillo sunrise — un auto que en ese momento no existía en ningún concesionario del mundo.

One year ago, conflict broke out along Cambodia’s border, upending the safety and stability of so many. Now, nearly 30,000 people remain internally displaced and unable to return home.

Cambodia has always been a special country for me and my family. This is my son’s country of birth, our home is here, and for over 20 years, we’ve worked with a fully locally-led team on conservation and community development. The Maddox Foundation is headquartered on the same border where the recent conflict took place.

I have had the honor of becoming close friends with my neighbors and the Foundation team as we demined and developed the area together.

When the fighting broke out last year, we had to evacuate our staff and their families — a painful reminder of just how quickly conflict can return.

I love this country and its resilient, warm people. While we’re grateful to have resumed our work protecting the land and supporting the community’s health and livelihoods, my heart is with everyone still waiting to come home.
