Okay… I think it’s safe to say
If I could, I’d paint the whole world in Starry Night.
I’m obsessed.

Painted this using acrylics on a terracotta plate, and honestly, I don’t see myself stopping anytime soon.

There’s something about those flowy strokes and endless swirls… every time I paint them, it feels like I’m somewhere else for a bit.

And I keep going back to it, again and again.

I drew starry night since I was 12 on papers. I was obsessed. It made me feel like I was free. I wanted to master it. I wanted to perfect it. But it wasn't possible. My skills were severely lacking, and what even is art if it doesn't have your own touch? I recently bought my very first acrylic paint, the normal tubes. My first thought was painting starry night. And I chose the worse kind of canvas for my first acrylic art. The glass of my wall cupboard. I thought it was impossible but something made me do it eitherway. For the first time, I actually studied the strokes and colours rather than simply copying. I reverse painted the whole thing and at last, perhaps I can conclude my obsession for now.
