Sometimes I look around and realize we’re living moments we used to only talk about 🥹🤍 #ad Life lately has been slow mornings, long breakfasts, watching the sun go down together and having nowhere we need to rush off to. It’s always the little moments that matter the most, especially when they happen on a little island in Montenegro 🇲🇪 This little chapter at @mamulaisland might be one of my favorites yet 📖 @banyantreehotels #mamulaislandbybanyantree #banyantreehotels #romanticgetaway
This piece was a canceled commission because the client wanted the exact Sailor Moon R animation style... so I chose to issue a full refund rather than force a style that no longer reflects my work. While when I started my earlier goal was to mimic legendary animators like Ikuko Itoh, I've gradually developed my own personal way of drawing the Sailors. Being a fan artist gives me total creative freedom without being bound to any strict official canon. After refunding the request, I decided to finish the piece for myself in a style that truly makes me happy, and this is the final result. As always, a quick disclaimer: my goal is never to claim I can do better than the original animators, but rather to adapt the characters into a fully detailed illustration. Unlike an animation frame made under tight deadlines, a standalone piece lets me take my time and polish every detail, specially with nowadays technilogy so...I hope you all enjoy it!
