Ad. ______________________________________________________ Arsenal took a 1-0 lead against Liverpool at Anfield in a huge Premier League clash between two of English football’s biggest sides. With both teams looking to make a statement in the title race, the Gunners put themselves in a strong position against their rivals, leaving Liverpool chasing a way back into the contest in front of their home supporters. Kai Havertz was the difference, converting Declan Rice’s delivery in the 16th minute after Arsenal capitalised on a mistake from Alisson. Liverpool pushed for an equaliser, with Florian Wirtz striking the crossbar, but Arsenal’s organised defence held firm to secure a massive 1-0 victory and their first Premier League win at Anfield since 2012. A huge three points for Mikel Arteta’s side in the title race.
