Back at it this weekend 😄 Excited for the race, we’ve got some work to do!

Doing an Essential Mix is one of the real honors in my career. I got to do one back in 2011, and it still represents what I stand for and where I came from.

Prepping for Superior Ingredients, it hit me that this was a completely different crowd than what I’m used to, and I needed to figure out what sort of journey I was going to go on.

Right up until I walked on I was still figuring out what that meant.

A few people had came up to me and told me they knew me from the Pacha New York days from 2010.

Many associate me with that time - the golden era… But many don’t know I’ve been putting out records since 1995.

So I decided to show everyone where my sound actually started and I went back to the roots, honoring New York.

Armand Van Helden. Masters At Work. Todd Terry. David Morales as you can see in the video. The New York house that influenced my very early days.

Somewhere in the middle of the set I looked up and thought, wow, this is another Essential Mix!

The full set and journey is on YouTube now, link in bio.

Superior Ingredients, thank you for a magical night and a perfect 2026 summer round off.
