Old Man Hut loop, ANZAC weekend 2026.
35km, 2500m ascent total. Brilliant tramp. Lots of bush bashing and pathfinding. The photos are in mostly chronological order and only get more and more scenic.
This trip also gave me a chance to use one of my recently made knives in the bush and I'm happy to report it was an absolute joy to use. Extremely satisfying having put a lot of work into it, and I couldn't really fault it. Happy days.
