Rewind ⏮️

Disney is notorious for putting cameos from their different films into their others, but let’s rewind to the Golden Age of Disney, also known as The Disney Renaissance (their certified bangers they dropped from 1989-1999)⏮️

Y’all who watched the original Lion King, which dropped in 1994, remember that scene when Zazu said that Scar would make a “very handsome throw rug” ? Well Disney decided to follow through with that joke in their Hercules movie, which dropped 3 years after.🎬

The same Disney animator who worked on Scar also worked on hercules for the film, actually put Scar as the pelt worn by Hercules in the scene shown above as a nod to that Zazu joke😂 which was also clever at the same time because Scar also resembled the Nemean Lion that Hercules defeats in the movie as well.🏛️

I’m sure a lot of y’all would agree that Disney back then was way darker & hit harder when compared to Disney today. 📼
