I joined Megan Hall with @scientific_american for a conversation about nutrition-related red flags on social media. One of the most common ways people spread nutrition and health misinformation online is by taking a correlation and presenting it as evidence of causation. Shark attacks and ice cream sales are one of my favorite examples of how misleading this can be. But there are plenty more.  Watch the full episode of Scientific American’s Science Quickly podcast! This episode was made possible by @bayerus. #ScienceDelivers #ad
The important thing is that you get out and vote. Your vote could be the deciding factor and this election is the most consequential election of our lifetime. This election will determine whether we’re a democracy or a dictatorship whether we all have AI data centers in our backyard, drinking our water and destroying our environment or not, whether our children will grow up on foods that are covered in toxic chemicals, walk in woods dusted with glyphosate, planted with cyanide traps…all because our corrupt president is on the take. Will we exchange our land of the free, home of the brave to normalizing the Ice Gestspo shoving shooting and terrorizing our neighbors? Hate is on the ballot but I believe love is the answer…and we have so many great candidates that can move us back towards love …Jon Ossoff, James Tallerico, Amy klobuchar, to name a few …let’s do this !
Who am I? Wrong answers only
What a moment. 🥹
Every step toward a better version of yourself will get a label from someone standing still. That label is not proof you are wrong, it is proof you are moving. Let them talk and keep going. Btw, poetry book “Between Heaven & Earth” is out now. It’s a collection of poems about love, heartbreak, loneliness, inner struggles, healing, and the quiet journey of understanding yourself and life along the way. If you’d like to read it, comment “Book” and I’ll send you the link. [poetry, poet, thefallenpoe.t, victorianpoetry, selfgrowth, discipline, mindset, letthem, poetrycommunity]
