this is a prime example of why I moved away from youtube type beats into solely producing my own original beats.
here’s the thing most artists ignore — almost 99% of the time, the beat you sourced from youtube’s search engine is not exclusive… meaning it can (and will) end up in someone else’s discography.

perfect example:
“None of It” — None of It by Xanman ft. Rico Nasty
and my track “REGULAR” off THRUST SZN I

same exact beat. two completely different artists.

this is where it gets tricky:
monetary delays, infringement risks, publishing splits, distribution issues — all tied to a beat you don’t fully own or control.

in hip-hop, this happens way more than people talk about.

this isn’t even hate — it’s just reality.

it’s exactly why I started taking production into my own hands more seriously.

overall… if you’re building something long term, control matters.
