Every addiction starts by giving you everything and ends by leaving you with nothing. 💔🔄 At first it feels like the answer. The stress fades, everything seems lighter and for a moment, life feels easy. So you go back. But each time, it gives a little less and takes a little more. What once felt like relief becomes something you need just to feel normal. It works the same way with anything that hijacks your brain. Gambling, your phone, the endless scroll, substances. Slowly, it drains the color out of everything else in your life. By the time most people notice, they’re not chasing the feeling anymore. They’re chasing the person they used to be before it started. Breaking free is hard, but it’s possible, and nobody has to do it alone. Every day you choose yourself, a little more of the color comes back. Nothing that slowly steals your life is worth a few minutes of relief. I hosted a Diwali dinner with @maccosmeticsuki ✨ & this is what everyone wore🪔🫶🏽
Lovely trip back to Manchester topped off with a really good visit with my Dad 🥺 Flirting with the home staff, calling everyone his favourite, winking for another biscuit, cracking a few jokes.. 🤣🤣 He might have lists of his teeth, but he hasn’t lost his sense of humour! Just can’t fully understand the jokes. But what it does do is give us both memories of most Sundays we’d spend together on the moor, from early afternoon until last orders. We had some right laughs and beautiful memories ❤️ Makes me sad that he’s still here but that’s no longer possible. It’s hard to understand the true destruction dementia causes, until you’re in it. And I wouldn’t wish it on anyone in the world - as always, give them a ring if you’re lucky enough to be able to, or a hug if you’re even luckier ❤️ #dad #son #family #dementia #love

Y’all better get that wifi sorted out before the game drops‼️😭 GTA 6 is set to take up 212 GB of storage on PS5, giving players an idea of how much space they’ll need ahead of the game’s November 19 release. Download times will vary depending on your internet speed, with slower connections potentially taking nearly two days to download the whole game. Swipe left to see how long it’ll take you to download the game 👀
