Day 2 of 5 unhinged things I do to run my home like a business. ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ“‹ We hold weekly board meetings. Because when you have eight people living under one roof, six kids, approximately 34 different schedules, and a household to manage, you canโ€™t just hope everyone knows whatโ€™s going on. We have individual employee meetings, executive leadership meeting with the President (my husband ๐Ÿ˜‚), CEO meeting (just me and the attendance is always excellent), and all-staff meeting. We review performance, discuss upcoming commitments, address concerns, set goals, and make sure everyone knows whatโ€™s expected of them. Is it a little ridiculous? Absolutely. Does it work? Also absolutely. But hereโ€™s the thing: I donโ€™t believe running an organized home means doing everything yourself. It means creating systems that allow everyone to contribute, communicate, and take ownership. And thatโ€™s exactly what Iโ€™m trying to teach my kids.
