I want to speak to those who are in a season of wilderness. To those who feel like nobody understands them, like people do not care about them, and nobody wants to hear their side of the story. To those who feel like life has become hard and everything around them is difficult.
Some of you are asking, Is this really the life God wants me to live? Is there even a God? Why is everything so painful? Hear me clearly: this is a season. What you may not realize is that you are in the wilderness season of destiny.
The wilderness is part of the fulfilment of destiny. It is a place where God allows things to slow down so your eyes can be opened. In this season, you begin to see who truly cares for you and who is only around for their own benefit. God uses it to reveal who is loyal and who was never meant to go with you into your next season.
Many cannot handle the wilderness because of the struggle, silence, and pain. Sometimes it also feels like the pull of worldliness becomes stronger, old desires, distractions, and temptations try to draw you back, and it feels like a real test of your faith. But the wilderness is not meant to destroy you. It is a place of preparation, encounter, transformation, and growth. It is where your character is built, your faith is strengthened, and your heart is refined.
It is also where your vision becomes clearer. In the silence, God teaches you to hear His voice. In the struggle, He trains you for what is ahead. What feels like delay is preparation, and what feels like isolation is often God drawing you closer to Himself.
But being in a difficult season does not mean you should abandon responsibility or authority. Many people use “another season” as an excuse to withdraw from serving God, especially under leadership. Pain and tiredness should not make you stop serving. Instead, it should draw you closer to God. Tiredness is not an excuse to neglect purpose or destiny.
So if you are in the wilderness, stay faithful. Stay teachable. Keep serving even when it is hard. This season will not last forever. In the right time, God will bring you out, lift you up, and lead you into the destiny He has prepared for you.
