Welcome to my bookstagram! 📚🥰 I thought I’d start off with a get to know me post with some facts about me!

💞My name is Catherine, I’m 24 years old, and I live in Durham, UK!
🏹My favourite book and movie series is The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins, I’m so excited for the new movie to come out!!
❤️‍🔥A recent favourite book is The Song of Achilles by Madeline Miller, I’ll post a review soon!
🫆My favourite genres are mystery/thriller, dystopia and fantasy, though I am trying to read outside of these genres too to push myself out of my comfort zone!
🎓I didn’t read at all while I was at uni and have spent the past few years slowly getting back into reading. As such, I’m a bit late to the party on a lot of books so you’ll see me reading a lot of books that came out a few years ago!
📖I only read print books as I struggle to focus on audiobooks and don’t like the feeling of reading on an e-reader
😱I don’t like to look into books much before I read them as I want to be surprised!
💅I have two jobs, one of which is nail technician (@pears.gels). I would love to do some sets inspired by books!
💓My favourite colour is pink, but I actually don’t have many pink books!
🎭I also love musicals, video games, chocolate, dancing, travelling, ice cream and board games
