Books That Take Me Back to the 2010s 📚💿✨

a little love letter to the books that defined an era 🥹💗

the magic, the dystopias, the heartbreak, the friendships, the plot twists… and ALL the feelings in between.

✿ Beautiful Creatures
✿ Legend
✿ Divergent
✿ More Happy Than Not
✿ All the Bright Places
✿ Illuminae
✿ Simon vs. the Homo Sapiens Agenda
✿ Everything, Everything

I was so inspired to make this by the girlies who host @rereadingtherevolution and all the nostalgia I’ve been feeling while listening to them 🥹🎧💗

There’s something so special about revisiting the books that shaped your teenage years and remembering exactly who you were when you first read them.

And this one feels extra special because I’m not just revisiting the books that made up this era of my life — I’m reliving all the memories of the authors I was lucky enough to meet along the way 🥹📸✨

These books feel like little time capsules, and putting this together has been such a sweet trip down memory lane. 💿📖💕

What book takes you straight back to the 2010s? ♡

📚✨ 4 books to piss off a Republican ✨📚
Because sometimes the best way to spend a long weekend is with a good book, a little rebellion, and absolutely zero interest in playing it safe. 😌📖💅

Swipe through, pick your fighter, and tell me which one you’d hand to your most conservative relative. 😂🫶

Which one are you reading first? 👀📚✨

This week on Books & Bevvies…🍹📖

We are doing a reel this time 👀 Surprise, surprise…I’m still in my reels era (carousels coming back soon tho!)

This week, my picks are:

Bevvie 🍹: A Paloma Margarita from @soulacocktails
- sweet, sustainable, fun, hand-crafted, and vegan.

Book 📖: I Got Abducted By Aliens And Now I’m Trapped In A Rom-Com - Unexpectedly fun, minimal spice, a has a kick to it, and definitely playful

These two are the perfect pair, brining the fun, the flavor, an unforgettable sweetness, and both being memorable in their own right. They both scream weekend in the sun, pure relaxation, and bring all the whimsy along for the ride!

Shout to @soulacocktails for their delicious, beverages that help you feel confident in what you’re drinking and provide a buzz without the guilt afterwards (not sponsored, just love their drinks!)

Have you read this book and what are your thoughts on Paloma’s and margaritas? Let me know in the comments! 👇💬

Cheers! ✨

📚🏳️‍🌈 SERVING BUNT — 4⭐️

Okayyyy, this book was SO much fun. ⚾️💅🏻 Kelly Reynolds really said give me a gay sports romance, make it funny, make it hot, and give me a cast of queer characters I actually want to hang out with. And this title is just so iconic. We love an unhinged play on words.

✨ Things I loved:
* 😂 Super funny — genuinely had me laughing out loud
* 🔥 Hot AF — the chemistry was CHEMISTRY-ing
* ⛓️ Great kink rep — loved how naturally it was incorporated
* 🏳️‍🌈 A fantastic cast of queer characters — give me more books where the entire world feels this queer!
* ⚾️ A GAY SPORTS ROMANCE — baseball + queer romance?? Say less.
*
Overall, Serving Bunt was an absolute blast and exactly the kind of fun, spicy queer romance I love picking up. 💖
4/5 ⭐️

Have you read it? LMK what your favorite sports romance is in the comments.
