![I feel a lot. I feel a lot of emotions. I feel a lot when Iām critiqued online. I read the comments.
I know when someone thinks badly about me and sometimes itās get to me.
I grew up like every little girl did which was hating her body and now Iām trying to become a woman who loves itā¦ and itās not easy.
Teaching self-love is really difficult because itās not always complementing yourself. Itās knowing yourself, spending time with yourself, being intimate with yourself, and then loving whatever version shows up.
And it takes time.
And itās not easy.
But I think itās worth it.

We all have in us the ability to fall in love with ourselves and that doesnāt mean we stop finding parts that weād like to change, or that disappoint us. A parent can be disappointed in their childās actions but still love them as a person. A human can still grow even if they show themselves ultimate kindness.
Itās a processā¦ and I donāt have the answers on how to do it exactly. Thatās why I was nervous to be apart of this self love campaign. How can a woman who still beats herself up for how she looks or dresses or for the things she says stand on a literal pedestal and talk about self love?
So the script changedā I didnāt āteach self-loveā like what was discussed. I spoke about how difficult it is to.
I didnāt say āI loved my body.ā I said Iām trying.
I didnāt say āI achievedā self love. I said Iām striving.
All we can do is know ourselves, spend time with ourselves, be intimate with ourselves, and love whatever version shows up. And love it imperfectly.
Try saying āI love my mind, body, and soul, exactly as it isā¦ right now.
Thatās the first step to self-love.](https://s3.imginn.com/851829499_18644211214028427_6034876209112192620_n.jpg?t51.82787-15/851829499_18644211214028427_6034876209112192620_n.jpg?stp=dst-jpg_e15_p480x480_tt6&_nc_cat=109&ig_cache_key=NDAwODQ1NDczNzc5NzI3MzY5NTE4NjQ0MjExMjExMDI4NDI3.3-ccb7-5&ccb=7-5&_nc_sid=58cdad&efg=eyJ2ZW5jb2RlX3RhZyI6IkNMSVBTLnhwaWRzLjcyMC5zZHIudmlkZW9fZGVmYXVsdF9jb3Zlcl9mcmFtZS5DMiJ9&_nc_ohc=Zfobhju3NZgQ7kNvwHWKi9L&_nc_oc=Ado3ZNlN_6YD-6-cQec_FZ7hWB7XEDVYTKEzPJpICCNbnC9NsdBqZbkZ2ke21phmc3oQjcRS79se3RRTnMgr4RjG&_nc_zt=23&_nc_ht=scontent-mia5-2.cdninstagram.com&_nc_gid=PB1hH8HLHsKzfKgiTYHmpQ&_nc_ss=70689&oh=00_AQPR2TApBT6X8N7jnkjYAxr6O7CO_-t2zfkBag_Dk5NnaQ&oe=6AD8E05E)
