COASTLINE SUPPLY CO. FISHING REPORT – APRIL 23
Things are starting to feel right out there.
Conditions have been up and down, but windows are opening—and when they do, fish are being caught. You’ll still want to be ready with heavier weights in the surf, but overall it’s trending in the right direction.
Red drum are still around, with scattered bites along the beach. Not as wide open as last week, but if you put your time in, you’ve got a shot.
We’re also seeing more variety show up…
Stripers are in the mix, scattered around inlets, backwaters, and bridges—throw artificials or even get after them on the fly.
Puppy drum are still hanging around as well, filling in the slower periods.
What we’re seeing:
* Red drum bite is more scattered but still there
* Stripers showing up in some areas
* Puppy drum providing action
* Conditions improving with the right windows
