Madeira day 7 - our first hike on Madeira gave us mixed feelings. The nature and the landscape were fascinating, but the amount of people on the trail was staggering. Even though since the beginning of the year you have to book a timeslot online and pay 4,50€ (per person) in advance, there was a queue at the trailhead. In the afternoon we went out with a marine biologist (@madeiraseaemotions ) and 28 other people to see some Pilot whales off the shores of Caniçal, which was a really great experience! Delicious snacks at "Petiscos do Pedro" @petiscosdopedro and Ponchas at "Peter's Poncha" @petersponcha to finish the day.
