This is Trump’s America: disabled children losing the medical care they desperately need. Ohio mother Madison Smith says her 19-month-old son, Colton, who became severely disabled after contracting bacterial meningitis, was denied Medicaid and is ineligible for a Medicaid waiver. She says she was told he ‘does not fit the criteria for disability and blindness.’ Her story comes after advocates warned that Medicaid cuts under Trump’s One Big Beautiful Bill threaten care for children with disabilities. Ohio is projected to lose about $33B in federal Medicaid funding within the next 10 years under the law, according to Signal Ohio, and about 3M children are projected to lose Medicaid or CHIP coverage by 2036, according to First Focus Campaign for Children, citing Congressional Budget Office projections. Thanks to @coltonbeatmeningitis on TikTok for the video.
The recent results of the 2026 Mr. Olympia open class was thrown into total disarray. Those of us who grew up in the classical era tend to measure bodybuilders in the criteria established during the physiques of the past. That was the standards demanded and expected of us. What determined the placing hedged on symetry, muscularity, and posing. Points were awarded in all three areas. Not just one but a point system that combined the three. The recent outcome of the Olympia appears to award muscularity (conditioning) only. Which says to future bodybuilders that symetry and posing is no longer part of the stand to being a complete Olympian. As a result the Mr. Olympia open class is truly open to whoever, brings the best and most dangerous level of conditioning near death as possible. That’s right…. near Death as possible. When the scoring systems of the past were removed, bodybuilders were thrust in the perils of dangers unseen or experienced in times past. Hear me well judges… consider what you’re asking: Tight and Drier can sometimes mean DEATH. Call it like it is. There, I said it and meant every word unapologetically🫵🏽
all smiles 😁

With a heart fuller than words could ever express, it is with great honor to announce that I am your new Miss Universe Poland. Some dreams are so far beyond what we ever imagine for ourselves, that we never think they could become our reality. To be selected by the Polish community and the national director of Poland to carry this responsibility, represent my heritage, and stand for a country that means so much to me is an honor I will never be able to fully put into words 🖤
