I am excited to host my first event at @batavierhuis in the Theaterzaal - on May 9th!
With two beautiful trios:
🎶 BRiMBA @brimba_official x Brassica @brassica.jpg 🎶
BRiMBA
After a long and adventurous journey, BRiMBA has finally arrived in the Netherlands – and she’s hungry! The all-Maltese trio plays their first-ever show abroad, bringing aggressive rhythmic interplay and brand-new music. Since their first outings in 2021, BRiMBA’s appetite for energetic, unrelenting sound hasn’t slowed down. Can the trio keep up? Let’s find out!
Line-up:
Kyle Drakard – guitar
@kyl0world
Dean Montanaro – electric bass
@dean.monti
Pete Galea – drums
@petegalea
Brassica
Brassica is an experimental trio from Rotterdam, blending free improvisation, jazz, and alternative noise rock. Their music explores the tension between structure and rupture, where repetition builds pressure and improvisation turns physical. Proto-stoner grooves collide with intense saxophone improvisation, cascading into riffs and abrupt, high-energy bursts.
Line-up:
Hugo Costa – alto saxophone
@hugofialhocosta
Leonid Elchanin – drums
Tommaso Martini – bass
@_tommaso_tato_martini_

We hope to see you there!!!
