Today I read a quote that said: "I was burning in flames while you came to blame me for the smell of ashes." And it broke something inside me. Because there are people who can see you completely broken and still find a way to make you feel guilty. They hurt you so much that when you finally scream in pain, the only thing that bothers them is the noise you're making. And you end up apologizing for the way you reacted, for crying too much, for needing help. As if your suffering were worse than everything they put you through. And while you're burning in the flames, you begin to realize everything the fire is taking away from you. Your peace. Your ability to trust. That part of you that still didn't know what it was like to live this way. But even after the fire goes out, there's one memory you can never seem to forget. All those times you reached out your hand through the flames, hoping that person would take it. But they saw you. They heard you. And still, they asked you to stop screaming. #lovelovelove #healingvibes #reflexiones #escritosdeamor #frasesdiarias
